Wedgewood Happenings — 07.23.2018

Wedgewood annual Cat & Dog Tournament will be Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29th.  Tee times are available for 8 AM and 1 PM both days.  You can play multiple sessions with a different partner.  Cost is $80 per team and includes lunch.  Flights and prizes will be determined by the number of entries and hole prizes will be awarded both days including men’s and women’s.   Rental carts are available and to sign up visit the proshop or call 417.926.5374 and choose your starting hole.

Congratulations to Adam Howe 1st place winner in Men’s League Monday, July 17th.  Congratulations to Jim Perry and Jeremy Raney who tied for 2nd place.  CTP winners include Travis Lunbeck, hole 2; Kyle Wake, hole 5 and Jeremy Raney, hole 7.  The lone skin winner was Kyle Wake on hole 1.

Friday evening Cat & Dog winners included Championship Flight John and June Gantner, 1st place and Doug and Donna Jones, 2nd place.  A-Flight winners were Frank and Freda Proctor and David Walker and Barbara Tate, 2nd place.   Tyler Hyde had CTP on hole 2 and Janay Reese, CTP on hole 7.

Please join the Women’s League  Mondays at 9:30 AM and Wednesdays at 6 PM. Non members can play in any WW league for $5 entry fees.  Also, children 12 and under can play for free after 5 PM with a member or green fee golfer.

Thank you to Jim Jackson, member, for donating an antique putter which is displayed in the entry way.   Also, thank you to members Charlie Blackwell and Kelly Lowe for ditch maintenance.   The #8 cart path project is underway and a big thank you to Tony Courtney, member, and crew for donating their time to complete this much needed project. Donations to purchase materials are still being accepted as we are a little short.
