Wedgewood Happenings — 09.25.2017

Congratulations to Jody Jarrett and Jordan Noirfalise, 1st place in Championship Flight Cat & Dog League, Friday, September 15th.   Julie and Dick Lenardson won 1st in A-Flight and Mary Auen and David Walker won consolation.   Michelle Myers and Brian Fleetwood won CTPs.  Turnout was light on Friday the 22nd so teams played for fun.  Dick Lenardson said “he always plays for fun”.  I like his attitude.

Men’s and women’s leagues are continuing to play even though numbers are declining as the season winds down.     Evening leagues are starting play at 5:30 p.m.

Mark your calendar for the Wedgewood Costume Fun-Raiser Tournament Saturday, October 7th.     Men will dress as women and women will dress as men and everyone will play from the red tees.  Twenty dollars per team ($40 penalty for not dressing up).   Carts will be available for rent for $10.  Money will be used to purchase tee box markers, rakes and hole flags.

Golf game will begin at 3:00 p.m. and cookout will follow at 5:00.   A night golf game will be played around 6:30ish.   Prizes will be awarded for best dressed man; best dressed woman and best dressed couple.   Bragging rights for top score, CTPs and longest drive.   Please RSVP by signing up in the pro shop or by calling Wedgewood at 417.926.5374.
