Wedgewood Happenings — 08.15.2016

The Cabool Kiwanis Golf Tournament was rained on Saturday, the 13th but Debbie Lemon, Cabool Kiwanis President, said it was a lot of fun and they are planning on a 2nd annual event in 2017. Kiwanis members are planning to host a golf school for the Healthy Kids program at Wedgewood next spring.

The Tuesday evening men’s league had a record crowd for the season on the 9th but the results were not available at press time. The Friday evening Cat & Dog on the 12th was not played due to a stormy evening. The rain has interrupted a lot of golf play this season but the new sod and grass plugging is looking great due to so much rain the last few weeks.
