Weather looked threatening the week of the Wedgewood 2-person tournament but turned out nice (70s and low 80s). Forty-two teams participated during the two day event held May 28-29.
The winners in the Championship Flight were 1st place, J Haynes/Altermatt; 2nd place, J Slayton/A Hawkins and 3rd place, C Midget/D Murr. In A Flight, 1st place was J Noirfalise/ A Baker; 2nd place, T Noirfalise/M McDaniel and 3rd place, D Hunter/K Clark. B Flight winners were 1st place, T Jones/S Gray; 2nd place, D Jones/R Replogle and 3rd place Jona and Troy Hull. C Flight winners included 1st place, Tyler/Todd; 2nd place, L Prichard/L Friend and 3rd place, D Hunter/M Jarrett.
Another rainy week cancelled most of the league play last week and left the course swampy in areas. League play will continue as weather permits–Monday Women’s 9:30 a.m.; Tuesday Men’s at 6:00 p.m.; Wednesday Women’s at 6:00 p.m. and Friday Cat&Dog at 6:00 p.m. Hope to see you at the course soon!
