Wedgewood hosted the Cabool High School Invitational meet Tuesday, April 9th with 40 kids braving the wind and rain. Area schools participating included Alton, Ava, Cabool, Gainesville, Mtn. Grove, Mtn. View, Salem, Thayer, Van Buren and Willow Springs. The Willow Springs team took 1st place; Ava 2nd place and Salem 3rd place. Braden Loftin, Ava was 1st place; Brady Altermatt, Willow 2nd; Noah Leslie and Blayne Altermatt, both of Willow tied for 3rd place; Jamal Metcalf, Salem and Bennett Montgomery, Cabool tied for 5th place.

The proshop is open Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. till 7 p.m. and Sunday noon till 7 p.m. (weather permitting). Range balls are available for purchase with the exception of Sunday evenings.
