The first day of spring brought beautiful golfing weather — sunny, 69 degrees and light wind. The spring beauties are flowering throughout the course another sign of spring and the greens are pretty already.
If anyone is interested in joining the GHIN handicap system, please contact Kevin Clary with name, DOB and email address. The cost is $22 for the year.
The course is open daily and the proshop will open April 1st Wednesday through Sunday noon till 7 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. till 7 p.m (weather permitting). Please call ahead for reservations if possible. Range balls will be available for purchase with the exception of after 6 p.m. on Sundays. All other times will operate on the honor system and rates and instructions are posted at the eastside pro shop door.
Wedgewood is offering the new family membership and also corporate memberships. Children under 12 can play for free after 5 p.m. with a member or an adult paid green fee. Wedgewood also offers membership for volunteers working in the proshop. If anyone is interested in volunteering for membership, please leave a message at 417.926.5374.
