Monday morning Ladies league enjoyed lunch out after their first 2021 session. They were excited to dine out as a group for the first time since 2019. CTP winners included Mary Beth Kaps, hole 2; Jeanette Hale, hole 5 and Sharon Alder, hole 7. The team of Alicia Biffle, Donna Jones and Jeanette Hale won the game.
Leagues are in session as weather and schedules permit. Ladies play at 10 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Men play at 6 p.m. Tuesdays and the Cat & Dog play Fridays at 6 p.m. The daily game plays at 1:00 every day with the exception of Mondays.
Wedgewood will hold it’s first 2021 event the Best Ball Tournament Saturday, May 29 with tee times at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The cost is $90 per team and mulligans are available for purchase. Prizes will be based on flights and CTP prizes on 2, 5 and 7 will be provided by sponsors. Rental carts are available and lunch will be included. The definition of best ball is two players play their own ball to complete the hole and only record the best score of the two.
The Wedgewood swimming pool will open soon and we are expecting a normal year of outdoor activities so guests will be able to attend with a member at $3 each.
