Wedgewood leagues began play this week. Please join us when you can and invite your friends and family. Non members can play for $5 green fees. Forty-four degrees Monday morning the 13th cancelled the Women’s League. Wednesday evening the ladies played Bingo, Bongo, Bango with Margie Cook the winner and Jeanette Hale and Jackie Smith tied for second place. Tuesday, May 14 men’s league results were closest-to-the pin winners Jeremy Raney, hole 2; Kevin Clary, hole 5 and John Cook, hole 7. Skin winners included Jeremy Raney, hole 2; Doug Jones, hole 5; Jeremy Hannaford, hole 7; John Cook, hole 8 and Shelby Gray, hole 9. Congratulations to John Cook, 1st place and Jim Perry, 2nd place. Cat & Dog league will play Fridays at 6:00 p.m. Find a partner and join the fun.
Everyone is invited to participate in the June 15th Cabool Education Foundation/Cabool Alumni 18-hole 2-Person Scramble event at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $45 per person which includes lunch and rental carts are available. Senior tees for 60, 70 and 80 years. Cash flight prizes will be based on the number of entries and CTP hole prizes will be $50 each. A drawing at the completion of the tournament for a Liberty Centurion 18-Gun Safe donated by R&S Rare Coins, Cabool, for participating golfers and “hole” sponsors.
