David and Jeane Walker, Cabool, won the best dressed couple at the Wedgewood Fun Raiser, Saturday, October 7th. David also won best dressed male and Julie Lenardson, Mtn. Grove, won best dressed female. In the afternoon golf game, Donna and Doug Jones payned out Amber and Jeremy Raney for first place. Dick Lenardson won longest drive men’s and CTP (closest to the pin) on holes 5 and 7. Jackson Raney won CTP on hole 2 and Julie Lenardson won longest drive women’s. Seven teams participated in the night golf game and it was a beautiful star filled sky evening with the Milky Way galaxy in view. A night league is in the planning stages and as details are confirmed the information will be published.
Leaves are falling and daylight is shortening but the weather is great golfing temperatures. The evening leagues are continuing play but starting earlier as possible.
