Congratulations to Tod Rose the 2017 Wedgewood Club Champion! This annual Wedgewood event was played Saturday and Sunday, September 9-10. Congratulations also to Kelly Lowe, runner-up. Mike “Sparky” Medwid is the super senior winner and Gale Wright, runner-up. Senior division winners included Dave Davis and Dr. Steve Hawkins, runner-up. The players had great golfing weather — cool temperatures and light breezes but we could use rain as the grounds are very dry.
Congratulations to Jim Perry and Doug Jones tieing for first place during the August 29th Men’s League game. CTP winners included Gale Wright, hole 2; Trent Jones, hole 5 and Frank Proctor, hole 7. Skin winners were Doug Jones, holes 2 and 6 and Brian Fleetwood, hole 9.

Cat & Dog League, September 8 included Championship Flight winners Michelle McDaniel and Marty Todd; A-Flight winners Donna and Doug Jones and B-Flight Linda Benyo and Brian Fleetwood. David Walker was the closest-to-the-pin winner and the women’s is a carryover (3 week carryover).
The evening leagues would like to start play at 5:30 as the evening daylight shortens. A Wedgewood fun-raiser is being planned for Saturday, October 7 and details will be emailed and posted at the club.
