The heat and humidity the past week made for some hot and steamy golfing but many golfers persevered and participated in the weekly Wedgewood leagues. The Tuesday Men’s League June 14 winners include 1st place Austin Baker and 2nd place Adam Howe. Closest-to-the-pin winners were hole 2, Adam Howe; hole 5, Dustin Forrest and hole 7, Steve Skyles. Skin winners were holes 1 and 4, Jordan Noirfalise and hole 6, Frank Proctor.
Wednesday Women’s League results were 1st place team Marcy Fleetwood and Jody Jarett. CTP winners were #2 Marcy Fleetwood, #5 Mary Kaps and #7 Jody Jarrett.
Friday Cat & Dog League Champion Flight winners include Jordan Noirfalise and Jody Jarrett, and Ted and Kathy Noirfalise. A-Flight winners were John and Margie Cook, and Richard and Claire Nelson. Closest-to-pin winners were John Cook, hole 7 and Donna Jones, hole 5.
Volunteer of the week is Jim Jackson. Jim is working in the proshop, watering the grounds and picking up the range. We are so fortunate to have a great group of volunteers — Mike Austin, Gina Cabano, John Mark Hale, Perry Hanchy, Mike (Sparky) Medwid, Larry Methany, Janeen Steelman and leader/organizer Jim Reaves.
