We would like to thank our 2019 sign sponsors Cabool Home Center, Cabool Lease, Cabool Tires, Inc., Community First, Community People’s Bank, Cabool Dairy Queen, Dr Steve and Joan Hawkins, Edward Jones Investments, El Imperial Restaurant, L&R Industries, Legacy Bank & Trust, Hawkins Home and Lawn, Jesci Boatright  (ReMax), Jim Perry Family Vision, McGownd Auto Sales, River Rock Redi-Mix, Stilley Electric, WDT, and Wehr Ford and RV.

Wedgewood had a great group of volunteers this season and we would like to recognize Dave Davis for his many, many hours of volunteer grounds work.   He assisted numerous times with readying the course for tournaments and events, and he worked with others training to use equipment and teaching golf course maintenance.   He truly is Super Dave.  A big thank you to the 2019 proshop volunteers — Bob and Charlotte Cameron, Karla Clark, John Mark Hale, Ron Lemon, Fred Preciado and Steve Raney.

From the History Files (October 31, l968) — Family Night At WWCC Is Well Attended  The family pot luck supper and bingo held Saturday night was well attended.  Special decorations added to the enjoyment of the evening.  The monthly stag party has been scheduled for November 17 due to Thanksgiving.  Board members attended a FHA sponsored meeting at Salem.  The group was given a tour of the Salem Country Club.  There was a discussion of grass and greens for golf courses.  Approximately one-half of the planting and landscaping at WWCC is complete.

Some trees at Wedgewood have completely lost the leaves; some are in full color and some are continuing to change.   I hope you can find some warm fall days to enjoy the course.   Happy holidays and happy golfing.
