Wedgewood Happenings — 09.19.2019

The 1st Annual Kathy Noirfalise Memorial Lady Scramble was held Saturday, September 14.   Kim (Noirfalise) Tribolet welcomed the golfers and Ted Noirfalise started the tournament.   Several family members attended the event and golfers from numerous  communities participated.  The weather cooperated with great golfing temperatures.   Congratulations to the tournament winners Penny Reynolds and Virginia Morrow, Cherokee Village, Arkansas; 2nd place, Linda Heady and Diane Schuster, West Plains and 3rd place Beverly Hicks, Willow Springs and Michele Myers, Maness.  A-Flight winners were Jody Jarrett, Cabool and Amber Raney, Mtn. Grove; 2nd place Mary Armstrong and Sandra Hawkins, Mtn Grove and Barbara Tate, Cabool and Pam Smith, Mtn. View.   CTP winners were hole 2/11, Jody Jarrett with 5’2”; hole 5/14 Wendy Willard, Willow Springs with 8’7″;  and hole 7/16 Virginia Morrow with 7’5″.   Closest second shot on hole 6/15 was Penny Reynolds with 15’0″. Penny also won the longest putt on hole 9/18 with 22’4″.  The Noirfalise family and friends hosted a fun pitching contest on hole 4 tee box with Diane Schuster winning that contest.  CTP sponsors were Suzanne Arnold, Doug and Donna Jones, Michele Myers, Randel-Hinkle Women’s League and Soft Touch Laser (Jodi Calus).  A traditional cream can lunch was served to golfers and guests prepared by Sherry and Gary Randall.  Others assisting with lunch included Mary Auen, Jody Jarrett, Donna Jones,  Reva McLain and Michele Myers.  Breast cancer ornaments were sold and a donation was made  to The Breast Cancer of the Ozarks in Kathy’s memory.

The Wedgewood Club Championship will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 5-6.
